A basic, standard, or recurring house cleaning is the most common type of professional cleaning service. It is designed to tackle the most commonly used areas around your home and keep it clean and fresh on a regular basis. Generally, our basic cleaning service consists of the following:
- Mopping
- Vacuuming
- General dusting
- Tackling your stove, fridge exterior, countertops, cabinet exteriors, sinks, and floors in the kitchen
- Doing up to one load of your dishes without pans and pots

While basic cleaning serves to keep your home spotless, professional deep cleaning is a more detailed, initial service that will prepare your home for regular cleaning sessions. It is a more detailed service that includes all of the tasks from the basic cleaning checklist, with addition of the following:
- Cleaning of all reachable baseboards on your walls
- Cleaning the inside of your fridge and your oven
- Tackling the interior window glass and window sills in all reachable areas
- Taking care of all the areas underneath your furniture without moving it
Yes, move in and move out cleaning is completely worth the investment. If you’re moving out of your home, hiring our professionals to perform a move out clean is essential for ensuring you get your security deposit back and avoid any potential legal actions against you for leaving your rental home in an unclean condition.
On the other hand, our move in cleaning services ensures your new place is clean and fresh. It is detailed and more comprehensive than either our standard and deep package, and it generally involves the following additional tasks:
- Crown moldings
- The inside and outside of your dishwasher, fridge, microwave, drawers, and cabinets
- Stove tops
- Ovens
- Door frames, door tops, and handles spotless
- The air vents and light fixtures
Your house will be cleaned by a team of 2-3 professionals with experience and adequate training. Our cleaners present themselves with uniforms and their work is covered by necessary insurance.
All equipment and various cleaning materials are provided by Scatter Green. We will use any of your favorite products upon your request.
Cleaning spots on the walls
Keep in mind cleaners are unable to clean or wash the walls. However, cleaners could clean superficial small stains on the wall if necessary.
Laundry
The cleaners do not provide personal laundry service. They can do one load of bed linens and towels if the washer/dryer is on site, and detergent provided. If an extra set of clean bed sheets is provided, cleaner will put used set in the washer.
Washing dishes
Please be aware that the house cleaner is only able to wash and clean dishes that accumulate from one day’s worth of meals, such as your dinner or breakfast dishes. If you require washing of dishes that exceed one day’s worth, an additional fee may be applied.
Washing blinds
Our house cleaners are unable to wash, scrub, or thoroughly clean the blinds due to the time-consuming nature of the task and blinds being fragile. However, they would happily provide a “light dusting” to keep them looking tidy.
Cleaning pets and their bodily fluids
Our cleaners are experts in cleaning homes, but please note that they are not trained to handle your pets or their waste. It’s essential to avoid exposing them to urine, feces, and other bodily fluids, as it can pose serious health risks
Outside area
Our cleaning services do not cover outdoor areas. However, for move-in/move-out cleaning, our cleaners may clean entry areas like balconies and decks.
Paint removal
Our cleaning service does not cover the removal of paint from hardwood floors, walls or windows
Exterior windows
Our house cleaning services do not include exterior window cleanings.
Cleaning inside freezers
Cleaning freezers can only be done in move-out cleanings
